Oberfield’s Ultimate Backyard Challenge had eleven landscape contractors completing backyard transformations using Oberfield's products for central Ohio homeowners for a chance to win a 2007 Chevy Silverado. The winning project, designed by Wilson Landscape Associates, featured a multi-tiered paver patio, retaining walls, outdoor grill area with concrete countertop, water feature, landscaping and landscape lighting.

The projects were judged by three landscape architects which judged the projects on use of space, creativity, workmanship, construction details and overall impression. Each project had to abide by certain criteria set forth by Oberfield’s. The required elements included the use of Oberfield’s pavers, and the use of an Oberfield’s Versa-Lok Retaining Wall product. Optional elements included fire elements, landscape lighting, Edington Wall Stone, an Oberfield concrete countertop and an outdoor kitchen.
